March 2015
The exhibition “Night Flyers” of the Estonian Museum of Natural History shows visitors the magical nightlife and proves that night is not at all grey and dreary, but bright and vivacious. The title “Night Flyers” combines two different topics – owls and moths – and the exhibition is distributed between various halls of the Museum of Natural History, establishing a unified whole. The display of owls introduces twelve species of owls nesting in Estonia or simply encountered here as lost guests. In terms of moths, visitors can inspect night flyers from Estonia, as well as from all around the world. The exhibition offers visitors moments of reading, experiencing, and discovering.
